Hey everyone! Just managed to snag a PS5 (finally!) and I'm absolutely stoked to dive into some next-gen gaming. Before I go full throttle, I really want to make sure I'm setting myself up for the best possible experience right from the get-go.
The console itself is obviously amazing, but I keep seeing discussions about all sorts of accessories that supposedly elevate the experience. I don't want to regret not getting something crucial, but at the same time, I don't want to blow my budget on stuff I'll barely use. There are just so many options out there, it's a bit overwhelming trying to figure out what's genuinely 'essential' versus just nice-to-have.
I've been eyeing a proper gaming headset for those immersive single-player games and intense multiplayer sessions, wondering if the official Pulse 3D is worth it or if there are better third-party alternatives. Also, a good charging solution for the DualSense controllers seems like a no-brainer – always hate running out of juice mid-game! And what about extra storage? With game sizes these days, an M.2 SSD feels almost mandatory. My goal is to invest wisely in things that genuinely make a difference to gameplay, comfort, or convenience, without going overboard. I'm trying to be mindful of my budget after the console purchase itself!
