I’ve been playing my Switch OLED in handheld mode a lot lately, but I’m finding that my hands start to cramp up after about 30 minutes. The console is just a bit too flat and heavy for long sessions. I'm looking for a high-quality grip case that adds some ergonomic bulk without blocking the kickstand or the charging port. I've looked at the Satisfye and the Skull & Co. options, but I’m worried about how they affect the weight and if they fit in standard carrying cases. Does anyone have experience with these, or perhaps a different brand that feels really secure? Which grip case would you say provides the most comfort for large hands while keeping the OLED screen safe?
Ok so I totally feel u on the hand cramps!! The OLED is basically a heavy brick after a while lol. While the other guys mentioned some solid stuff, I gotta suggest the OIVO Switch OLED Grip if you're looking for the best bang for your buck. I actually own this one and it's seriously a lifesaver for larger hands because it has those flared-out handles that make it feel like you're holding a pro controller.
Here is why I love it:
- It's way cheaper than the Satisfye but feels just as sturdy tbh
- It has extra slots in the back to hold 5 game cards
- The kickstand is still 100% usable which is highkey important
I was worried about weight too, but it's super lightweight plastic. It wont fit in a slim case though, so you might wanna grab the OIVO Large Carrying Case for Switch OLED to keep it all together. Honestly, for like twenty bucks, it's a total steal. Hope that helps ur hands out! 👍
yo, i feel u on the hand cramps... the OLED is seriously heavy for long sessions. honestly, i've tried many over the years and i'm a bit of a bargain hunter, so i gotta mention the Skull & Co. GripCase OLED for Nintendo Switch OLED Model.
In my experience, it's basically the best value cuz it comes with three different grip sizes. i use the 'Trigger' ones for my large hands and it's sooo much better.
Compared to the Satisfye ZenGrip Pro for OLED, the Skull & Co is way more practical cuz it's dockable! plus, the Satisfye is kinda bulky and wont fit in any normal case. the Skull & Co. Maxcarry Case for Switch OLED is a bit extra but it fits the grip perfectly.
so yeah, if youre worried about weight and fitting in a bag, go with the Skull & Co. it's cheaper and more versatile imo. gl!! 👍
Bookmarked, thanks!
