I'm starting to plan my day one setup for the Switch 2 and want to be fully prepared. I am especially curious about whether my current Pro Controller will work or if I need a new screen protector and carrying case immediately. Based on the rumors, what specific launch accessories are you prioritizing to protect your new system?
Respectfully, I'd consider another option for the storage. While a 1TB card is nice, it's highkey expensive. I've been super satisfied with my Samsung EVO Select 512GB microSDXC MB-ME512KA/AM—it's usually around $35, which is fast enough for basically any game and way cheaper, which helps when you're already buying a new console, right? I've had zero complaints with it so far. From a technical side, if the Switch 2 is as powerful as rumors say, it's gonna be a power hog. I'm prioritizing these instead:
In my experience, your Nintendo Switch Pro Controller should sync up fine via Bluetooth, but the physical stuff is another story... since rumors point to a bigger 8-inch screen, ur current case is basically useless. I am prioritizing a amFilm Tempered Glass Screen Protector and a high-speed SanDisk 1TB Extreme microSDXC UHS-I Card to handle those bigger textures. Honestly, getting that glass on day one is the move cuz I hate scratches!!
For your situation, I suggest being extremely cautious with third-party power supplies because I have unfortunately had issues with off-brand bricks basically damaging my hardware before. Just stick with the Nintendo Switch AC Adapter for safety, and maybe check the Hori Slim Tough Pouch for a budget-friendly case, tho idk if generic ones are actually as good as expected... safety first!!
Can confirm this works. Did the same thing on mine and its been solid ever since.
