What are the must-have launch day accessories for Nintendo Switch 2?

This time around, I really want to be fully prepared and have everything ready to go the moment I unbox it!

I'm particularly curious about what you all consider "day one" essentials. Given that the new console might have a different form factor, I'm already looking into whether a tempered glass screen protector is a must-buy immediately, or if I should wait for specific brands to release their versions. Also, since I plan on taking it on my commute, a rugged carrying case that fits the new dimensions is a huge priority for me. In my experience, being prepared for launch day is definitely the way to go. I'm in the same boat—trying to get everything ready so I don't end up with a scratched screen on day one again lol. Based on some technical analysis and what's worked for me, here's what I recommend for your situation: For storage, it's basically a lock that we're still using microSD cards. Even if the internal storage gets a bump, those higher-res textures are gonna eat space fast. I've been really satisfied with the Samsung EVO Select 512GB microSDXC UHS-I U3 130MB/s. It's definitely the sweet spot for price-to-performance and works well without any lag issues, which is huge for long-term costs. Regarding your controllers, your current Pro Controller will likely work via Bluetooth, but if you want something new, I'm a huge fan of the 8BitDo Ultimate Bluetooth Controller with Charging Dock. The Hall Effect sensors mean no stick drift, which is a big deal for value. Plus, the charging dock just makes everything look clean. For your commute, since your gonna be mobile, you realy need a solid power source. I've had no complaints with the Anker 737 Power Bank (PowerCore 24K).
