With the Switch 2 rumors heating up, I'm really worried about keeping it safe. Since it might be slightly larger, I'm looking for a sturdy hard-shell case with a soft interior and space for a charging cable. Does anyone know which brands are already prepping the most durable options for the launch?

Hmm, I've had a different experience with "early" cases. Ngl, brand-name "Switch 2" cases will probably be way overpriced at launch. I'd actually suggest a different approach—wait for the actual specs!
* Amazon Basics Vault Case is usually only $14.
* Generic hardshells on eBay are often under $10.
Buying early might be a waste of cash if the fit is slightly off... just be careful! gl

ok so, i've been gaming since the 90s and i've learned the hard way that pricey cases aren't always safer. I would suggest looking at Orzly Carry Case for Nintendo Switch OLED style budget options once they update for the next gen. They're usually under $20 and basically indestructible. Lesson learned: expensive brands are mostly just hype, so save your cash for the actual games lol. gl!
