With the PS5 Pro arriving, I’m looking for a charging station that actually fits the DualSense Edge properly. I’m worried those back paddles might get in the way of certain docks. Does the official Sony station work, or should I look at brands like NexiGo? What are you guys using for a snug, reliable fit?

yo, basically i use the Edge and for your pro setup i suggest these: - Sony PlayStation 5 DualSense Charging Station: Pros: Clicks into bottom pins, paddles clear easily. Cons: Pricey. (Best choice imo!)
- NexiGo PS5 Controller Charging Station with LED Indicator: Pros: Cheaper. Cons: Kinda tight with back buttons? Make sure to get the official one if you want that perfect fit tho... it's just safer! gl!

Seconding the recommendation above! Unfortunately, I had issues with cheap generic docks cuz they literally scratched the underside of my Edge... total bummer. Technical alternatives:
- Razer Quick Charging Stand for PS5: Solid voltage regulation.
- Sony official: As mentioned, it has the best pin alignment. Anyway, stick to the bottom click-in pins. Using the USB-C port on generic stands wears out the connector too fast imo. gl!

> I’m worried those back paddles might get in the way of certain docks. To add to the point above: I've actually had some issues with some of the more popular docks lately. Unfortunately, I tried the PowerA Twin Charging Station for DualSense because I usually trust them, but it was really not as good as expected. The plastic felt cheap and the connection was finicky, which is just disappointing when you're charging a pricey controller like the Edge. I switched over to the Insignia Dual Controller Charging Station for PS5 and honestly it's been much better for reliability. It’s got a wider base so those back paddles have plenty of clearance. I'm always worried about the battery safety on these things, but this one hasn't given me any heat issues. Just watch out for the generic ones that dont have proper certifications, they can be pretty sketchy and I wouldnt trust them with a Pro setup. Let me know if you want to know more about the charging specs!
