im so tired of my old turtle beaches cutting out mid game and honestly i cant hear anything behind me in cod anymore its driving me crazy. im looking at spending maybe 180 or 200 bucks max before my next paycheck hits on friday so i need to decide soon.
im torn between the arctis nova 7x and the stealth 700 gen 2 max but i keep hearing mixed things about the dolby atmos versus dts head x support on xbox. i just need to know which one actually lets me pinpoint where people are coming from before i lose my mind. which of these has the better spatial sound for the series x?

Honestly i went with the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7X Wireless Gaming Headset and it performs great for the price. The spatial imaging feels way more precise for shooters like COD once you pair it with Dolby Atmos. Quick tip tho... make sure you download the Dolby Access app on the console to custom tune the EQ. It really helps pinpoint those footsteps behind you compared to the default setup.

Regarding what #1 said about "Honestly i went with the SteelSeries Arctis Nova..." - i totally agree that those are great! But if youre worried about spending your whole paycheck, there are a couple of other amazing and reliable options that are basically foolproof to set up.

- Honestly i love this one because it connects directly to the console without any extra USB sticks to lose! Its super safe for beginners and the spatial sound is surprisingly fantastic for the price.

- Since you mentioned this, i say go for it! The Superhuman Hearing mode is amazing for CoD and it works with everything, so its a really safe investment for your money. I promise you're gonna have such a blast hearing everything now!
