Recommended AM5 motherboards for the new Ryzen 7 9850X3D?

So I finally decided I'm gonna pull the trigger on the 9850X3D as soon as it hits the shelves next month. Building this mostly for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 because my current setup is basically a slide show at this point lol. I'm based in the US so I'm lucky enough to be near a Microcenter, but I'm still trying to figure out the motherboard situation. I've got about $300-350 set aside just for the board, but I'm seeing so much conflicting info online.

I spent last night reading up on some stuff and everyone keeps saying the ASRock B650E Taichi is the goat because of the crazy VRMs and the build quality, but then I see other guys on Reddit saying you absolutely need an X870E for the 9000 series chips to get the full bandwidth and better memory support. I dont really care about having five different NVMe slots, I just want the CPU to boost properly without the board getting too hot or throttling things. I also do a bit of 4K video editing on the side so I need something stable that wont crash when I'm rendering for three hours straight.

Is the whole PCIe 5.0 thing actually worth the premium right now? Like if I go with a solid B650 board am I gonna regret it in two years when I get a new GPU? I'm also kinda worried about bios updates because I've heard some AM5 boards take forever to post and I really dont want to be sitting there for 2 minutes every time I boot up my PC. Some people say ASUS has fixed their issues but others are still swearing off them after that whole voltage scandal thing from last year. It is honestly making my head spin trying to pick one.

What boards are you guys actually looking at for these new X3D chips specifically? Should I just stick with a high-end B650E or is it worth stretching the budget for the newer 800 series chipsets just to be safe for the long run...
