Hey everyone! I recently picked up an Acer Nitro 50 (N50-650 series) and I'm absolutely loving the performance so far, but my current audio setup is definitely the weak link. I've been using some old earbuds, and they just aren't cutting it for long gaming sessions or hearing directional footsteps in shooters. Since the Nitro 50 has that specific front-panel jack configuration, I want to make sure I get something that’s easy to plug in and won't require a bunch of expensive extra adapters.

I've snapped so many cheap plastic headbands in the past that I basically became obsessed with finding something with a metal frame that wouldn't short out my front jack if I accidentally tugged on it.

Seconding the recommendation above! Honestly, over the years I've tried many budget sets with my glasses, and most just crush my frames. If you want something different from the usual picks, check out the Razer BlackShark V2 X Wired Gaming Headset. It's LIGHT and the padding is super soft for glasses. Also, maybe look at the Corsair HS55 Stereo Wired Gaming Headset? It's usually under $50 and the mic clarity is actually SO good for the price. Been thinking about this for a bit since I saw the post earlier. Ive gone through so many headsets with my Nitro desktops over the years that I lost count. Honestly, after trying basically every major brand out there, I always end up back with HyperX. Their stuff is just built different when it comes to comfort. I wear glasses too, and while some brands claim to be glasses-friendly, HyperX actually feels like it. I've been super satisfied with how their gear handles the front jack without any weird static or fitment issues. No complaints at all. If you want a no-nonsense experience, just go with any of the HyperX gaming headsets in your price range. TL;DR: Stick with HyperX.
