so sick of looking at these prices... im stuck between the HP Victus and the Skytech Nebula. i have a hard $1000 limit and need it shipped by next Friday for a stream. my room gets super hot so cooling matters.

  • under $1000
  • fast shipping
  • decent airflow

should i just go with the skytech?

ngl the victus is a total sweatbox because of the proprietary motherboard and lack of intake. if you want something that wont turn your room into a sauna, check out the MSI Codex R Gaming Desktop Intel Core i5-13400F RTX 4060 16GB DDR5 1TB SSD. it uses standard off-the-shelf components and has a mesh front panel that actually lets the fans breathe. the i5-13400f is a decent choice for streaming too since it handles those background tasks without much sweat. another solid bet is the CyberPowerPC Gamer Master Gaming PC AMD Ryzen 7 7700 RTX 4060 16GB RAM 2TB SSD if you find it on sale. between your original choices, the skytech wins on thermals for sure, but the msi is a great alternative to keep in mind for shipping speeds. the 4060 is pretty power efficient tho so it wont dump massive heat into your room compared to older cards.

I have been super happy with my Skytech so far. Honestly, if your room gets hot, the Victus is gonna struggle because those cases are basically ovens. Go with the Skytech Nebula Gaming PC RTX 4060 Intel i5-13400F 16GB DDR4 1TB NVME.

  • Way better airflow with the mesh front
  • Standard parts mean easy upgrades later
  • Stays way cooler during long streams

I learned the hard way that a bad case can kill performance. My first prebuilt basically melted because I didnt check the fan setup... I would suggest the ABS Stratos Aqua Gaming PC Intel i5 13400F GeForce RTX 4060 16GB DDR5 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD instead. It stays really cool.

  • verify shipping times for your stream
  • look for 3+ system fans
  • check the psu wattage Be careful with solid plastic front panels.
