Hey everyone, I am finally pulling the trigger on an RTX 5070 Ti for my new build, and I really want to mount it vertically to show off that shroud design. However, looking at the specs, these cards are getting massive and quite heavy, so I am a bit worried about finding a kit that is actually sturdy enough to handle the weight without sagging over time.

I am currently using a mid-tower case with standard expansion slots, but I am concerned about the clearance between the GPU fans and the side panel glass. I do not want the card to choke and hit thermal limits just for the sake of aesthetics. I have been looking at a few options from brands like Cooler Master and EZDIY-FAB, but I am not sure if their included riser cables are fully optimized for the PCIe 4.0 or 5.0 speeds that these newer 50-series cards utilize.

Two things I am specifically looking for are:

  • A mount that provides enough offset from the glass to maintain good airflow
  • A high-quality riser cable that won't cause signal loss or crashing during heavy gaming

I would really like to avoid any kits that require me to cut the metal bars on my case's PCIe layout. Has anyone here already mounted a 5070 Ti vertically? Which specific mount kit did you use, and did you notice any significant change in your temperatures?

Jumping in here, I would suggest the EZDIY-FAB Vertical PCIe 4.0 GPU Mount Bracket with Multi-Angle Adjustment. Honestly, it's a solid budget pick compared to the one mentioned earlier and still feels reallyyy sturdy for heavy 50-series cards. Just be careful to verify the riser is 4.0 to ensure full bandwidth so you don't tank your speeds. It sits back far enough to avoid thermal throttling from the glass. Good luck with the build!!

For your situation, I'd pick Cooler Master Universal Vertical GPU Holder Kit V3 with PCIe 4.0 Riser Cable cuz it's adjustable for airflow and super sturdy for heavy 50-series cards without sag!

Just found this thread! I had the same sag issue before. Seconding the recommendation above, but whats ur budget and case model?? Just wanna check if that card will actually have breathing room.
