What are the best anti-sag brackets for the RTX 5090 because I am honestly terrified of this thing snapping my motherboard. I just dropped over two grand on this build and the little support thing it came with is a total joke, it keeps slipping and my card is already visibly drooping after like two days.

I'm using a Lian Li O11 Dynamic and there's just so much weight on that poor PCIe slot i cant sleep thinking about it. Does anyone have a recommendation for something super sturdy that actually screws into the case or sits on the floor? I dont care about the price at this point I just need my 5090 to stay level before I lose my mind...

Since youre already in the Lian Li ecosystem with that O11, the Lian Li GB-002 Graphics Card Anti-Sag Bracket is a very logical choice. It mounts directly onto the motherboard standoffs, providing a low-profile support that doesnt interfere with bottom-mounted intake fans. Its solid but requires a bit of fiddling with the motherboard screws during install. Another option is the Cooler Master Universal GPU Holder Kit V2 which is a floor-standing support. It uses a magnetic base and a sliding arm to catch the corner of the shroud. Its definitely easier to install than the Lian Li bracket, but it takes up physical space on the floor of the case. For a card as heavy as the 5090, the floor-standing model is technically more stable since the weight goes straight into the chassis floor rather than pulling on the motherboard tray. I usually prefer the floor-standing ones for high-wattage cards just for the peace of mind.

I totally feel your pain! When I first slotted my card in I actually had a nightmare about it snapping the PCB in half! It is terrifying to see that much money sagging like that. Honestly, i was so stressed i stayed up half the night checking it every ten minutes... it was a total mess! Quick question tho, are you running 120mm fans at the bottom of your case? That totally changes what fits down there without hitting the blades. A couple quick tips:

  • Use the beefiest screws that came with the case for the PCIe bracket
  • Use a tiny spirit level to be 100 percent sure about the angle I ended up getting the ASUS ROG Herculx Graphics Card Bolster and oh my god it is amazing! It is super sturdy and feels like a car jack. It has this fantastic little spirit level built right in so you know exactly when its flat. I love it so much because it actually locks into place!
