What is the actual best budget GPU for 1440p gaming right now that wont be obsolete in a year?

I'm stressing out because I finally saved $350 for my build here in Cali but the options are super confusing. I keep seeing the RX 6750 XT recommended as the king of budget 1440p but then some people say drivers are a headache.

Then I looked at the 4060 Ti because I want ray tracing for Cyberpunk but everyone says 8GB VRAM is a scam for 1440p in 2024... honestly I just want something that wont stutter when I'm trying to play Helldivers 2 with my friends. Should I just wait or is there a clear winner i'm missing?...

Be careful with 8GB buffers tho.

Ngl $350 is a really tough spot for 1440p right now but its definitely doable if you're careful about what you pick. Honestly, you might want to consider staying away from the 4060 Ti... I tried running 1440p on an 8GB card recently and the stuttering in newer titles is just brutal. Basically the card has the raw power but it just runs out of memory room for high res textures, which is exactly what you dont want when playing Helldivers 2 or Cyberpunk. I would suggest going with the XFX Speedster QICK319 AMD Radeon RX 6750 XT 12GB GDDR6. People still complain about drivers but honestly they have been super solid for a long time now. I've been running one in a guest build and haven't had any major headaches at all. That 12GB of VRAM is the real hero here... it gives you that extra breathing room so you dont hit a performance wall in a year or two. Just be careful and make sure your power supply can handle it tho. These cards can be kinda power hungry compared to the newer Nvidia stuff. Make sure to have at least a decent 650W unit before you buy. If you can find a deal on the ASRock Phantom Gaming AMD Radeon RX 6800 16GB GDDR6 for closer to your budget, jump on that instead. The 16GB is even better for longevity. But for strictly $350, the 6750 XT is basically the winner. Let me know if you need help checking if it fits in your case... some of these triple fan models are massive.

Make sure to avoid 8GB cards because theyll likely stutter at 1440p. Look for:
