Which anti-sag bracket works best for a heavy RTX 5080?

My new RTX 5080 is an absolute beast and much heavier than I expected. I am genuinely worried about long-term damage to my motherboard PCIe slot. I have a mid-tower case with limited space at the bottom. Do you recommend a vertical pillar-style support or a horizontal bracket? Which specific model holds up these heavy cards best?

This^ Also I am reallyyy happy with the Antec Graphics Card Support Bracket because its cheap and basically supports weight directly from the floor, which is way more secure.

Seconding the pillar! It's like $20 insurance. I used the Cooler Master Accessory Graphics Card Holder V2 when my card sagged. Lesson learned: honestly dont risk ur motherboard slot!

For your situation, I think the pillar style is best. My current setup has a huge card and it actually made me super nervous for my motherboard.

  • Honestly, the vertical pillar worked way better for me.
  • The horizontal bracket I tried first just didnt feel secure enough.
  • My little adjustable stand fits even in my cramped case. Basically, the pillar is way safer, but just be reallyyy careful not to bump it!!
