Hey everyone, I just got my hands on a new RTX 5070 Ti and I'm really wanting to show off that cooler design in my Lian Li O11 Dynamic. I'm worried about the weight since these cards are getting massive, and I definitely want a PCIe 4.0 compatible riser so I don't lose any performance.

I've seen a few generic kits, but I'm worried about:

  • Sagging over time due to the triple-fan weight
  • Airflow clearance against the side glass
  • Cable length for my ATX motherboard

I've never done a vertical mount and don't want to waste money on something flimsy. Which vertical mount kit works best for the RTX 5070 Ti?

Congrats on the card! Honestly, I was super nervous about the weight too when I first switched. You definitely dont want a heavy card like that sagging or, worse, pulling on your motherboard. Since youre using the O11 Dynamic, I would really recommend sticking with the Lian Li O11DE-1X Vertical GPU Bracket PCIe 4.0. It is built specifically for that case line, so it feels way more solid than the generic ones I have seen. I actually used it for my build and it holds up great. It has a support piece that keeps it from sagging even with those massive triple-fan coolers. Plus, it gives you enough space between the card and the side glass so your temps wont spike. It is a bit of a pain to install if youve never done it, but just take your time and follow the manual. It is better to spend a little more on a sturdy kit than risk an expensive card on something flimsy imo.

Honestly, the Cooler Master Universal Vertical GPU Holder Kit V3 PCIe 4.0 is your best bet. It feels way more solid than the cheap kits and keeps heavy cards perfectly level.

Gonna try this over the weekend. Will report back if it works!

Late to the party but honestly, I had such a nerve-wracking experience with this. I was so worried about my card falling that I actually measured the sag with a level every day for a week. When I first tried to mount my NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, I realized that the sheer weight of these new cards is no joke. I initially bought a generic kit that claimed to be heavy-duty, but the metal was so thin it started bowing under the weight of the triple fans almost immediately. I was terrified it was gonna snap or something... I learned the hard way that you have to look at how the bracket actually attaches to the case. Some just hang off the back expansion slots, which is super risky for a heavy card. I ended up finding a setup that has a support pillar that rests on the bottom of the case floor. It basically makes it impossible for the card to sag, tho it took a bit to get it level. Also, definitely keep an eye on the clearance between the fans and the side glass. In my first try, the card was basically suffocating because it was too close to the panel, and my fans were spinning like crazy just to keep it from throttling. Another technical thing I ran into was the riser cable. Even though it said it was compatible with Gen 4, I had weird flickering issues until I double-checked the seating. It is a bit of a project, but staying cautious about the structural integrity is definitely the right move. I wouldnt trust anything that feels light or bendable in your hands.
