What is the best 4K 240Hz monitor for the RTX 5090?

Building on the earlier suggestion, that MSI is decent but unfortunately I had issues with their firmware updates being a total mess. It is just not as good as expected for a premium setup. Since you are budget focused, the Samsung Odyssey G8 G80SD 32 Inch 4K 240Hz OLED is often on sale for way less. Save that extra cash for the 5090... you are gonna need it.

Summarizing thread, MSI and Samsung are decent. These specs matter tho:

• LG UltraGear 32GS95UE-B 32 Inch 4K 240Hz Dual-Mode OLED (WOLED) Check bandwidth.

I went through three monitors last year before I finally landed on the MSI MPG 321URX QD-OLED 32 Inch 4K 240Hz and honestly i couldnt be happier with how it handles high refresh gaming. I was exactly like you, terrified of burn in after seeing some horror stories online, but MSI has this whole OLED Care 2.0 suite that actually works well without being annoying. Its been months of heavy use and the panel still looks brand new. The 240Hz at 4K is basically the sweet spot for that 5090... i tested it with my current setup and the motion clarity is just night and day compared to my old IPS. Plus it usually sits right around 950 bucks which leaves you extra cash for games. You wont regret the jump to QD-OLED, the colors are just so much punchier than regular panels.
