Best budget RAM for an AMD Ryzen 5 5600G build?

Hey everyone! I’m currently putting together a budget-friendly PC build around the AMD Ryzen 5 5600G. Since I’m planning to rely on the integrated Radeon graphics for some light gaming (mostly eSports titles like Valorant and Genshin Impact) while GPU prices are still a bit wonky, I know that RAM speed is super important. From what I’ve read, Ryzen APUs really crave fast memory to perform their best.

I’m trying to find that 'sweet spot' between performance and price. I’m definitely looking for a 16GB (2x8GB) kit to take advantage of dual-channel, but I’m torn on the speed. Should I strictly stick to 3200MHz CL16 to save money, or is it worth stretching the budget for a 3600MHz kit? I've seen some TeamGroup and G.Skill Ripjaws sets that look decent, but I'm worried about stability and XMP profiles on a budget B550 motherboard.

Has anyone here built with the 5600G recently? What specific RAM kits would you recommend that won't break the bank but still let the APU breathe?

Totally agree with the first post - 3600MHz is like the magic number for the 5600G because the iGPU uses your system ram as vram so speed is everything and you dont want to bottleneck it!! If youre looking for a budget pick TeamGroup T-Force Vulcan Z 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3600MHz is usually super cheap and works great - or maybe look at G.Skill Ripjaws V 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3600MHz since its super stable for those XMP profiles lol.

So for a 5600G build, you definitely want to aim for 3600MHz if you can swing it. Since youre relying on the integrated graphics, that extra speed actually makes a massive difference in your frame rates... like, seriously. 3200MHz is okay if youre super tight on cash, but the jump to 3600MHz is usually just a few bucks extra nowadays and its totally worth it for the smoother gameplay.

Anyway, the absolute most important thing is staying with a dual-channel kit like you planned. Running a single stick is gonna straight up murder your performance lol. And honestly, dont worry too much about stability on a B550 board. Most of them handle those XMP profiles perfectly fine these days!! Just go into the BIOS, click the button, and you're set. So basically, grab the fastest kit your budget allows because that APU really craves the bandwidth tbh.
