I'm currently putting together a Ryzen 7 5700X build and need advice on the best RGB RAM. I'm aiming for 32GB at 3600MHz to hit that sweet spot for Zen 3, but I'm worried about clearance with my air cooler. Which kits have the best lighting effects and reliable stability for this CPU?

I mean, the previous suggestions are totally solid, but honestly... I’m gonna have to disagree slightly on the clearance thing. If you're really worried about that air cooler, most of those kits are still kinda tall tbh. I think people totally sleep on the Kingston FURY Renegade RGB 32GB (2x16GB) 3600MHz CL16 kits for Ryzen builds. They have a way more low-profile feel compared to the big flashy ones, and the lighting is super clean without being too bulky!!

Well actually... if you want something that looks super unique but stays slim, you should check out the ADATA XPG SPECTRIX D50 RGB 32GB (2x16GB) 3600MHz CL18. It’s got that cool geometric vibe and isn't quite as chunky as the Delta sticks mentioned earlier. Just my 2 cents lol, hope that helps your build!!

Ok so, for a 5700X build, the G.Skill Trident Z Neo 32GB 3600MHz CL16 is basically the gold standard tbh. It looks sooo good and works great with Zen 3!! But if ur worried about clearance, maybe look at the Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro SL 32GB 3600MHz? It’s a bit shorter so it might fit better under ur cooler... not 100% sure on ur specific cooler height though lol!

Yeah, picking RAM for a 5700X build is kind of a balancing act between looks and that annoying cooler clearance lol. If you want something that really pops but isnt as over-suggested as the usual suspects, id seriously look at TeamGroup T-Force Delta RGB 32GB (2x16GB) 3600MHz CL18. The lighting on those sticks is actually gorgeous... like, super bright and smooth diffusers. They are a bit tall tho, so you gotta check your tower cooler specs before pulling the trigger.

If youre really sweating the clearance issues, then Kingston FURY Beast RGB 32GB (2x16GB) 3600MHz CL18 is probably your best bet tbh. Theyre a lot shorter than most RGB kits out there so they fit under those big beefy air coolers way easier (at least thats what worked for me on a similar build). The lighting is a bit more subtle but still looks clean and they are super stable with Ryzen chips.

Another solid sleeper pick is the Mushkin Redline Lumina 32GB (2x16GB) 3600MHz CL16. Mushkin has been around forever and their timing is usually tighter which Zen 3 absolutely loves!! You get that sweet 3600MHz CL16 performance without paying the "brand tax" you see on some other kits. Honestly, as long as you hit that 3600 sweet spot, your 5700X is gonna be happy. Just make sure to enable XMP or DOCP in the BIOS or youre gonna be stuck at base speeds... lol. Good luck with the build!!

Honestly, since you're rocking a 5700X, stability really comes down to whether the kit plays nice with your specific motherboard's QVL (at least for me anyway). Based on what I've seen in the community lately, there are 2 low-key options that basically solve the height issue while keeping that 3600MHz sweet spot: - Crucial Ballistix RGB 32GB (2x16GB) 3600MHz CL16 – These are the community favorites for air cooler builds because they sit right around 39mm. The lighting is super subtle and the Micron E-die is basically legendary for stability on Zen 3, right?
- Silicon Power Zenith RGB 32GB (2x16GB) 3600MHz CL18 – These are super budget-friendly and surprisingly slim. The lighting effects are clean and they don't have those huge fins that cause clearance issues. One tip: if you do go with a taller kit, you can usually just slide the front fan on your air cooler up a few millimeters on the clips to make it fit. It's an easy fix that most people forget about!

Actually, for a 5700X, ur pretty much on the right track with 3600MHz!! It’s definitely the sweet spot for Zen 3. If ur worried about that air cooler clearance, u really gotta check the height specs before buying anything tbh. Most flashy RGB kits are like, super tall and will totally smash into ur fans lol. Look for "low-profile" RGB options that stay under 40mm. Also, try to find a CL16 kit instead of CL18 if u can... it’s actually gonna give u a nice little performance bump in games. Stability-wise, just make sure the kit is on ur motherboard's QVL list so u dont have any weird crashing issues?? It’s pretty annoying when XMP doesnt just work out of the box. Just keep an eye on those dimensions and u’ll be golden!!!
