im so pumped to finally finish this 7800X3D build but honestly fed up with my current ram crashing constantly. my logic was 6000mhz cl30 was the sweet spot but these blue screens are killing me so what actually works? i need a stable 32gb kit for video editing under $150...
Agreed. I learned the hard way to be careful with sub-timings. I suggest:
Just found this thread. Over the years I've tried many kits that claimed stability but failed under load. In my experience, if you're still crashing, Corsair Vengeance 32GB DDR5 6000MHz CL30 AMD Expo is usually the fix. I've put this in several 7800X3D editing rigs lately and it handles heavy lifting perfectly for about 120 bucks. Swap it out and stop stressing...
Honestly just stick with G.Skill for Ryzen builds. I had the same bs with blue screens until I swapped. Pretty much any of their kits with EXPO support will do the trick without messing around in bios too much. Just make sure your motherboard firmware is updated too because that helps a ton with the higher speeds... they just seem way more stable with AMD stuff.
This is exactly what I needed to hear. Youre a lifesaver honestly.
Solid advice 👍
