What is the actual best RAM for the 7800X3D? Most people say 6000MHz CL30 is the way to go, but then I see guys on Reddit pushing 6400. I'm building a competitive rig for Valorant here in London next week and I'm just confused if the higher speed is worth the potential stability headache...
Stick with 6000MHz CL30 for absolute reliability! Crashing mid-match is the worst. For a budget-focused build, I love the TeamGroup T-Force Vulcan DDR5 32GB 6000MHz CL30. It is incredibly stable and the price is fantastic right now. You get amazing performance without paying the enthusiast tax. Honestly, saving money while ensuring your system doesnt flake out is a win-win... definitely wouldnt risk 6400.
^ This. Also, unfortunately:
Regarding what #1 said about 6000MHz being the sweet spot, I'm super happy with my G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo 32GB 6000MHz CL30. It keeps that 1:1 ratio perfectly, unlike 6400 which usually desyncs.
Ok adding this to my list of things to try. Thanks for the tip!
