Which 32GB RAM kit works best with Ryzen 9 5900X?

I’m currently in the middle of a new build featuring the Ryzen 9 5900X, and I’m feeling a bit stuck on the memory selection. I know Ryzen processors are particularly sensitive to RAM speeds and latency, so I want to make sure I’m getting a 32GB kit (2x16GB) that really lets this CPU shine. I’ll be using the PC for a mix of heavy video editing in Premiere Pro and some 1440p gaming on the side.

I’ve been reading a lot about the 'sweet spot' for the Infinity Fabric clock, and it seems like 3600MHz CL16 is the general recommendation, but I’ve also seen people pushing for 4000MHz or sticking with 3200MHz for stability. I’m looking for a kit that is reliable and offers great performance without needing hours of manual sub-timing tweaks. My motherboard is an ASUS ROG Strix X570-E, and I have about $120-$150 set aside for the RAM.

Does anyone have specific experience with certain brands or die types (like Samsung B-Die) that play particularly well with the 5900X? I’d love to hear which 32GB kits you guys are running and if you've run into any stability issues. What would you recommend as the best bang-for-your-buck kit that hits those high performance marks?

Ok so, for a 5900X, you definitely wanna hit that 3600MHz sweet spot. It basically keeps the Infinity Fabric 1:1 without any headache, you know? Honestly, the G.Skill Trident Z Neo 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4-3600 CL16 is the gold standard here because it’s literally optimized for Ryzen. But yeah, if you want something lower profile, Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4-3600 CL16 is also super reliable. Both are basically plug-and-play!!

You're gonna want a 3600MHz CL16 kit for sure. It's the SWEET spot for that chip and helps with all your editing stuff without any crazy crashing, haha.
