so im finally upgrading from my crusty old 144hz panel because i feel like im losing duels in valorant just because of ghosting honestly. i've been looking at the zowie xl2546k because basically every pro uses it but then i see people saying the colors are absolutely terrible for anything that isnt gaming like watching youtube or whatever. then i looked at the alienware aw2523hf which is way cheaper but some reviewers say the motion clarity isnt as sharp as the dyac tech on the benq. im kinda torn because i want the competitive edge but i dont want my screen to look like washed out garbage when im not playing.
heres what im looking for:
- 240hz is a must
- around $400 to $500 max budget
- really good motion clarity i hate blur
- im in the us so i can order from amazon or best buy next week
- mostly for val and cs2 but i play some apex too
is the zowie still the king or is there something newer i should look at? i heard some stuff about oled but that seems way out of my budget and i play way too much to worry about burning the hud into the screen or whatever...

If you want a screen that does it all without sacrificing your competitive edge, this is the gold standard for IPS 240hz right now. It gets the job done and stays within that $400 limit easily.
