Picking up a 5090 next month for my 4K editing build in NYC and im trying to decide if the G.Skill 8000 speed is worth it or if I should just get a solid 6400 CL30 kit and save $150. Would the faster RAM actually help the 5090 perform better or is it just a waste?

I learned my lesson trying to push crazy speeds. My pc kept crashing until I swapped to a stable kit... honestly 6400 is plenty.
- been very happy with G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo 64GB DDR5-6400 CL30
- it works well without any stability issues
- saved me cash for more nvme storage Ngl, dont waste the money on 8000 speeds, they arent worth the headache.
