What processor should I buy to go with the RTX 5090 card that is coming out soon? I am trying to build my very first gaming computer and I want it to be the fastest possible because I am finally moving out of my parents house in Seattle and I want to treat myself before I start my new office job in December. My budget is pretty high like maybe $4000 total for everything but I really have no clue what I am doing and all these numbers for parts are so confusing like i5 or i7 or i9 or those Ryzen things.
I heard the 5090 is gonna be the fastest thing ever so I do not want the other parts to slow it down or whatever people mean when they talk about bottlenecking. I am really scared I will buy something that does not even fit or work together because I am totally new at this. Is there one specific chip that everyone agrees is the best one or does it depend on other stuff? I mostly want to play that new flight simulator game on a giant screen. Sorry if this is a really basic thing to ask I just dont want to waste money on the wrong thing since I need to buy everything in the next two weeks before I move...
TL;DR: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 4.2GHz 8-Core Processor. Over the years I've seen expensive i9s struggle with heat. This is safer for your first build and better for flight sims tbh.
Came here to say the same thing lol. Great minds think alike I guess.
