Honestly so fed up with these constant crashes. I just dropped a fortune on this 9850X3D build for my freelance editing work and the G.Skill kit I bought is just refusing to run at 6400mhz no matter what I do in the bios.

I have a huge deadline by Friday night and I cant keep blue screening every time I try to render out a 4k file. Its beyond frustrating because I spent nearly $220 on this ram and it feels like a total waste. I need something that actually works stable with these new Ryzen chips without me having to spend hours tweaking voltages. Which high-speed DDR5 RAM is actually reliable for the 9850X3D right now?

Ugh, unfortunately 6400mhz is a total nightmare on these chips. I had issues with high speed kits too, it's honestly not as good as expected... just not worth the headache. TL;DR: Grab the Corsair Vengeance RGB 64GB DDR5 6000MHz CL30. 6000mhz is the sweet spot for Ryzen stability. Use EXPO and you'll actually finish those renders by Friday.

Ive tried many kits and 6000MT/s is the ceiling for these chips.

  • G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo 64GB DDR5 6000MT/s CL30: Best sub-timings.
  • Kingston Fury Renegade DDR5 6000MT/s CL32: Maximum stability.

If you want a cheaper but solid alternative, look at TeamGroup T-Force Vulcan DDR5 64GB 6000MHz CL30. Quick tip: literally just enable the EXPO profile and leave it alone... trying to manual tune for a tiny gain isn't worth missing deadlines.
